The Assembly gets a new District Chief Executive and a Presiding Member. Present were Hon. Stephen Yakubu, The Regional Minister, Hon. Cletus Avoka, The MP for Zebilla Constituency, Hon. Victoria Ayamba, among other dignitaries. Hon. Awini Asaana became the Presiding member with 47 Yes and 2 No.

Hon. Tahiru Issahaku Ahmed nominated by His Excellency, got confirmed as the new DCE of Bawku West District Assembly with 37 members voting Yes while 12 voted No.
