PRESENTATION OF LEARNING KITS
On February 17, 2026, the Bawku West District Assembly and National Youth Authority presented learning kits to young beneficiaries under the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP). The kits included sewing machines (industrial ones included), hairdryers, and other accessories.
The NAP Coordinator emphasized that the programme aims to reduce youth unemployment and urged craft masters to ensure that the items are used for the training. He said further support in the area of carpentry will soon be added.
The District Chief Executive encouraged beneficiaries to take the opportunity seriously as it will equip with them skills that will earn them a living.. The initiative equips youth with skills and tools to improve their lives and promote local enterprise development. The recipients expressed their gratitude to the government and their commitment to ensuring that the items are put to good use.
Overall, the NAP aims to create employment opportunities and foster economic growth in Ghana.
