District Chief Executive together with the Hon. MP, the District Coordinating Director, District GES Director, District Health Director, District Engineer, Presiding Member, NDC executives, Assembly Members and the Chiefs of the beneficiary communities, cut sod for a series of projects that will help transform Bawku West District.
The projects launched are:
– 3‑unit classroom block – Zabzoaga JHS
– Maternity block – Gbantongo CHPS compound
– 2‑unit KG block – Adonsi Primary School
– OPD block – Tonde CHPS compound
– 3‑unit classroom block – Timonde JHS
– OPD block – Googo CHPS compound
– Slaughterhouse – Zebilla
– Renovation of the Bawku West District Assembly Hall
– Drilling of 30 boreholes across the district
These initiatives are in line with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of “Resetting Ghana” and will improve education, health, sanitation and water access for our people.
The DCE thanked all the contractors for committing to quality work within the agreed timelines and urged the community members to support them so that these projects are completed on schedule and assured the people that together we will build a stronger, healthier and more prosperous Bawku West.
