The Accounting To The People Forum saw the effective participation of Members of Parliament, Presiding Members, Traditional and Religious Leaders, Heads of Departments and Agencies, Civil Society Organisations, Development Partners, Youth and Women’s Groups, Persons With Disabilities, Private Sector Representatives and the General Public.

 

The forum aimed at bringigng Government closer to the people, deepening citizen participation and strengthening public accountability by providing a structured platform for Government to account to citizens on policies, programmes, projects and development interventions, while receiving feedback on local priorities and challenges.
